Sustainability is on the minds of business leaders across industries and regions. Many companies are adapting their strategies to focus on sustainability and “green building” to be more resilient, expand their customer base, better market themselves, reduce their environmental footprint and improve their bottom line.

Larry Falkin, Director of the Office of Environment and Sustainability for the City of Cincinnati, will moderate a panel of business leaders – including Krista Jaeger, Manager of Sustainability for Cintas and Lann Field, Vice President of Development for 3CDC – to discuss what prompts these businesses to pursue sustainability and key initiatives and trends that are driving corporate sustainability programs..

Krista Jaeger, Manager of Sustainability for Cintas

Krista is responsible for providing leadership and direction in all areas of sustainability for Cintas – managing the execution of sustainability strategy to help Cintas reach its goals for sustainability including tracking of metrics, partner engagement activities, marketing collateral and long term goal setting recommendations.

Lann Field, Vice President of Development for 3CDC

Lann Field joined 3CDC in 2008 as a Development Officer after earning her Masters in Community Planning from the University of Cincinnati. She was subsequently promoted to Senior Development Officer, then spent two years in the role of Development Manager prior to being named Vice President of Development in 2015. In her current role, Field wears many hats, as she is responsible for overseeing aspects of everything from property acquisition and project planning to real estate finance and construction management. During her tenure, Field has overseen or worked on projects totaling $130 million, highlighted by the $49 million Mercer Commons project.

Moderated by:  Larry Falkin, Office of Environment & Sustainability, City of Cincinnati

Larry leads the Office of Environment & Sustainability (OES) in moving the Cincinnati City Government and the larger community toward sustainability and the practice of good environmental stewardship. His prior work experience includes time with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Kansas City Department of Environmental Management, the Jackson County (Missouri) Department of Parks and Recreation and the Environmental Compliance Oversight Corporation.
