USGBC Ohio Southwest Region and Green Umbrella invite you to join us to watch a screening of the award-winning documentary Catching the Sun. The screening will take place at Cintrifuse – Union Hall in OTR from 5:30 – 8:30 pm. This event is approved for 1.5 AIA LU credits and 1.5 GBCI credits are pending.
The film tells the story of the global energy transition from the perspective of solar laborers, policymakers, and entrepreneurs in the U.S. and China, all of whom are working to build solutions to income inequality and climate change through the deployment of solar energy.
In addition to seeing this award-winning film, guests will have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session with the film’s director, Shalini Kantayya. Shalini has received recognition from the Sundance Documentary Program, IFP Spotlight on Documentary, New York Women in Film and Television, John D. and Catherine T.
